What Is the Kenya eTA?
The Kenya Electronic Travel Authorisation is an online travel authorisation used by eligible foreign visitors travelling to Kenya.
Kenya’s official eTA system states that visitors, including children and infants, generally need an approved eTA before travelling unless they fall under an exemption.
When Should You Apply?
Travellers should apply before travelling and allow sufficient time for processing. The official system states that an approved eTA is valid for travel within 90 days from the date of issuance.
Do not leave the application until the last moment because travel plans can be disrupted if the required authorisation has not been approved.
